Return and Exchange Policy

RETURNS
We offer a free and complete return policy within 32 days from shipped delivery (2 days assumed in transit). Should you wish to return an item that is passed the 32 days, we may provide options for unbroken and undamaged returns. Our policy lasts 32 days from the date the order is delivered. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging, and the return instructions must be followed in full detail.

If you wish to return an item, please send an email to returns@handhbootmakers.com with the word “return” along with the order number listed in the subject header. It is also advisable to include the same information in the body of the email in accordance with the following format:

We will send return instruction and information, and you may request that we cover the costs of the item’s return shipping. Please note that the expense for return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

EXCHANGES
We offer an exchange policy within 182 days from shipped delivery (2 days assumed in transit). Should you wish to exchange an item that is passed the 182 days, we may provide options for unbroken and undamaged return. Our policy lasts 182 days from the date the order is delivered. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received. It must also be in the original undamaged packaging, and we require that all return instructions are followed in detail.

We allow free size exchange if the selected shoe size proves less than optimal and you wish to improve your comfort. We offer changes to color or model for a handling and exchange fee of $75, including shipping.

We will send return instruction and information, and you may request that we cover the costs of the item’s return shipping. Please note that the expense for return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

REFUND PROCESS
When we receive and inspect your return, we will send an email as confirmation of receipt. We will also communicate the status of your refund (e.g. whether it is an acceptable return or an explanation to the contrary). In most cases, we will accept your return and process your refund, applying the credit to your charge card or original method of payment. The email will also offer information regarding the time required for processing and other pertinent details.

SALE ITEMS
We do not offer a refund policy for sale products. We rarely offer items on sale but when we do, it serves as a means of limited inventory management and returning the item would present a production issue.

OTHER REFUNDS: Tailor-made or Made to Order / Made to Measure refunds
We do not refund personalized products or tailor-made products. We will work tirelessly to improve the product and make it comfortable for you to wear. You may return the item for adjustments twice, free of charge. Thereafter, you will be required to cover the costs of shipping until you are 100% happy. Again, we never refund customized product; however, if you provide evidence of a quality or product malfunction, we will refund accordingly.
